K-91-4hp Kohler engine with an Eaton 6a0600-021 transmission.
Most of the cab and upper structure was made by me from scrap
pieces. Typical industrial engine for factory and yard work.
This locomotive is used by the club for track work such as
pushing a ballast regulator.

This engine has two 6 wheeled powered trucks for a total of 12
driving wheels. This plus the 8hp engine give me a great deal
of pulling power. Typical steam engine startup time is one to
one and a half hours, mine is 5 min or less. This is a typical
modern road engine.

This engine uses a 3hp Briggs and Stratton Engine. The original
Prototype was built by Whitcomb for the military during W.W.II.
It was powered by a 6 cylinder LeRoi gasoline engine. It was
used after the war by International Mineral and Chemical CO. in
California. It is still active at the California State RR
museum in Sacramento. This is Ryan's first of what I am sure
will be many other engines. His love of railroading goes back
to when he was two and has overshadowed all other possible
activities from Little League to Scouts.

5 hp Briggs and Stratton engine with electronic horn and bell.
The engine is powered through two four wheeled trucks. I have laid
about 1400' of track at my home with 25' min. radius curves and
3.5% max. grade. Visitors with or without engines are welcome
just about any time.

This engine is powered by a V-16HP Vanguard engine that drives a Eaton Hydrostatic drive system.  This baby has plenty of pulling power and can pull more than 100 cars.  The hand held controls makes for smooth and easy operation.
